Trustees
What is the purpose of the Negotiation Group?
The trustees are responsible for negotiating a treaty settlement that is fair and would make the descendants of Ngāti Ruapani mai Waikaremoana proud.
This also includes actively engaging and connecting with the uri, and whānaunga iwi (overlapping groups). Trustees will provide practical solutions to connect with uri who cannot attend in person. Reconnecting whānau, ko te Urewera, te kura huna.

The marae representatives on the Negotiating Group are available to discuss your concerns of disputes in good faith.
If that does not resolve your concern, you can write to the Negotiating Group. They will respond to you in 10 working days and may meet with you.
